Bret Michaels has spoken out against rumors he is the reason Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus filing for divorce last month. Insiders have claimed Billy Ray filed for divorce after discovering Tish had an affair with Michaels earlier this year while the rocker was recording a duet with their daughter Miley Cyrus.

When questioned about the rumors by Fox and Friends, the Michaels insisted his relationship with Tish was strictly professional.

“I’ve been friends with her family forever,” Michaels said. “It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” The first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record.”

“When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song … and that was it,” he added.
