Gwen Stefani's Husband Admits to Gay Fling with Cross-Dresser

Gavin Rossdale has finally admitted to having a fling with 80’s cross-dressing pop star Marilyn. The fling was first heard of in 1995 when Boy George wrote about it in his book. Rossdale has refused to confirm it, until now.

In the new issue of Details magazine, Rossdale says the relationship was just a part of growing up. “When you’re 17, Jesus Christ. I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of … you’re learning about life,” says the singer, who has two sons with wife Gwen Stefani. “It’s a part of growing up. That’s it. No more, no less.”

Marilyn has claimed the relationship lasted for 5 years, but Rossdale insists it was a one-time hookup.

“That was it. You have to know what you like, and I know what I like,” he tells Details.

Rossdale also explains why he waited until now to talk about the relationship.

“I think at the outset there was a sort of fear — that was right at the beginning of Bush, and I didn’t want it to be part of it,” he says.

“It felt like a cheap shot, so I was like, ‘I’m not getting involved,’” Rossdale explains.
