Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are taking over New York, the dynamic duo broke the news that they will be staying at the Smyth Hotel while filming their very own spin off of their family’s show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ staying with them will be Scott Disick and baby Mason in New York City, New York on October 3, 2010.

As Kim took off for The Big Apple this morning, she alerted the Twitter world with a message stating:

“New Yooooorrkkkk! Concrete jungle where dreams are made of!”
“Rise and Fly!!!! Can’t wait for NYC”

Kim and Kourtney will start filming for their new reality show on Friday. A source for the New York Post revealed the following details about the new series:

“Kim and Kourtney will begin filming a spin-off of their E! reality series, ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians,’ in Tribeca on Friday. They’ll be using a penthouse at the Smyth Hotel for three months while they expand the family business and find Kim a man. A source said Scott Disick and baby Mason will live in the penthouse with Kourtney for the shoot, with the intention of relocating the family to New York permanently.”
