‘Last Comic Standing’ judge Greg Giraldo has died. According to Giraldo’s friend and fellow comedian Jim Norton, the 44-year-old died Wednesday after an accidental overdose over the weekend.
Giraldo was hospitalized Saturday after being found unresponsive in a Brunswick, New Jersey hotel. He was surrounded by family when he died. No other details on his death were released.
“Greg Giraldo passed away today. This is the last photo of us together, taken June 28 at Noam’s wedding. RIP buddy,” Norton wrote on Twitter.
A public memorial is reportedly being planned.
