Lindsay Lohan is reportedly determined to remain sober and stay out of jail. Only hours after a judge denied Lohan bail and sent her to a California jail Friday morning to await an October 22 hearing, the actress won an appeal and was granted bail. Sources tell TMZ, Lindsay will enter a live-in rehab facility outside of Los Angeles within days.
“She will step up her treatment and do more than what she was previously ordered to do,” says the insider.
Friday’s hearing came a week after Lohan failed a random drug test. She tested positive for amphetamines and cocaine.
“This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences,” Lohan wrote on Twitter after the failed test.
“Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night,” she added. “I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.”
