Dancing with the Stars Premiere Recap!

What did everyone think of last nights DWTS premiere? Here are the best and the worst from last nights show.

Jennifer Grey’s emotional tribute to her late Dirty Dancing co-star Patrick Swayze earned her the top scores for Monday night. Grey and partner Derek Hough danced a Viennese waltz to “These Arms of Mine” from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. The performance moved judge Carrie Ann Inaba to tears. Grey scored 24 points.

Other favorites include Disney star Kyle Massey, whose energetic cha cha had Inaba declaring he is her “first crush” of the season. Rick Fox and Brandy also impressed judges with their romantic Viennese waltzes.

The most surprising performances of the night came from Bristol Palin, who performed a feisty cha cha that entertained judges, and Florence Henderson, who also impressed with a sexy cha cha. Bruno Tonioli told Palin and Henderson to work on technique.

The worst performances came from actress Margaret Cho, Jersey Shore star The Situation and actor David Hasselhoff. Len Goodman called Cho’s humorous waltz “inappropriate” while he slammed The Situation, saying the reality star “has the guns but no ammunition.” Inaba called The Hoff “the offspring of Donny Osmond and Jerry Springer.”

On Tonight’s results show, the first couple will be voted off.
