Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has filed for divorce from his wife of 9 years, Perla Ferrar. Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, cited irreconcilable differences in divorce papers filed Monday in L.A. Superior Court. He listed July 15, 2010 as the date of the split. Hudson is seeking joint custody of their two sons, 8-year-old London and 4-year-old Cash.

“I can confirm the divorce papers were filed and from Slash’s perspective the split is amicable,” a rep for Hudson tells People magazine.

Hudson and Ferrar tied the knot in October 2001. Ferrar has not commented.
