American Idol has been pulling out all the stops trying to get big names to replace Simon Cowell. Those names include Sir Elton John and Justin Timberlake, both who said thanks, but no thanks.

In fact, we first reported John’s “no” to the show back in January, and then again in April. He was never considering “Idol.”

As for Timberlake, a source connected to the pop megastar tells Gossip Cop it’s a “no go,” as he’s too busy with films and his own music career.

First off, both of these people are too nice to replace Simon. Second, they are both retardedly wealthy and wouldn’t do it for the money.
