Lady Gaga and her former boyfriend, musician and bartender Luc Carl, have recently reconciled.

Carl and Gaga, 24, split a few years ago – but the pair started dating again a couple of weeks ago, says a source. Last month the couple went public with their romance, attending a New York Mets game together.

“Gaga’s first album is entirely about their relationship and her latest song, ‘You and I,’ is about how they got back together,” adds the source. “They’ve been in love for a while.”

Gaga performed to a record-setting crowd at Rockefeller Center Friday (July 9) for a full half-hour of the Today show.
