Rumors have hit the internet today that MTV’s “The City” is being cancelled? The current season, which airs on Tuesdays at 10.30pm EST, will be its last. What will happen to Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo? They say Palermo has become a celebrity outside of “The City” and Port would like to focus on her fashion career.
However, some sites are saying this is not true at all. Tony DiSanto, MTV’s president of programming and development, told Gossip Cop that the show’s rumored demise is “Totally 100 percent not true.”

It’s a pretty boring show, so I am not suprised in the least if it’s being cut. I’m a reality show junkie, and I can’t sit through it.
