Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made an appearance at Rocket Fizz in Valencia, California on Saturday afternoon June 12.
The “Jersey Shore” star is getting publicity for criticizing Barack Obama’s 10 percent tax plan that was recently put in to place as part of the healthcare reform bill.
“I don’t go tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning … And I feel like he did that intentionally for us, John McCain would never put a ten percent tax on tanning, because he’s pale and probably would want to be tan.”
Former presidential candidate and current Arizona Senator John McCain expressed sympathy over Snooki’s troubling situation by Tweeting:
“U r right, I would never tax your tanning bed! Pres Obama’s tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. But I do rec wearing sunscreen!”
I doubt she even knows who Obama is. She’s probably repeating what she heard someone else say.
Pretty sad that this is the topic she chooses to comment on – no wonder our country has issues
