Sandra Bullock Kisses Scarlett Johansson!

After months of staying out of the spotlight, Sandra Bullock made her comeback Sunday night at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. The actress accepted the Generation Award, presented by Scarlett Johansson, Betty White and Bradley Cooper. Bullock, 45, joked that the award generally goes to “old people” who are ready to fade from the entertainment business.

“That’s not going to happen. I’m staying,” said Bullock. “Because no matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do. And I’m not going anywhere.”

Bullock’s best moment on stage came when she locked lips with Johansson. Johansson explained she was on stage in place of husband Ryan Reynolds, who starred with Bullock in The Proposal.

“Well, since Ryan was working, I wanted to be here in his place when you guys won Best Kiss,” she said.

“That’s so nice. But we didn’t win,” Bullock said.

“Right… well… I thought you should have won… it was a great kiss,” Johansson replied.

Bullock then went in for the kiss. “Can we please go back to normal – because therapy is really expensive,” she joked after.

I was watching last night, and I think Sandra handled everything perfectly. She was charming, humble and had a sense of humor about herself. She should be very proud of the way she has dealt with this situation.

She really did handle herself great. She was funny and seemed truly happy. It’s so nice to see her in the public again. I’m so glad she got a standing ovation. I loved the list she had, that was so funny.
