I think it’s safe to say that Kate Gosselin is a shoe-in for mother of the year. She decided to throw her kids a pool party – in the balmy 47-degree weather!

A source tells UsMagazine.com the in-ground pool behind the Gosselins’ $1.1 million Pennsylvania home is heated and connected to a hot tub.

Kate, 35, was spotted running from the pool area into the house with water dripping off her. (She may have been having more fun than her 2009 trip to North Carolina, in which she yelled at her twins for splashing her, and one snapped back, “Mommy, you are mean!”)
