Jessica Alba Almost Starts Hotel Fire!

Jessica Alba nearly caused a fire at the Smyth Hotel in New York on Wednesday. Alba was attempting to make fish sticks for her 1-year-old daughter Honor when the oven began smoking. The smoke was so bad that the fire alarm when off and the fire apartment was called to the hotel.

“They were preparing Honor’s dinner. [There was] no fire just some smoke that unfortunately set off the alarm,” Alba’s rep tells People magazine.

Alba is in New York for the premiere of her new movie “The Killer Inside Me” at the Tribeca Film Festival.
