Mario Lopez has announced his girlfriend, actress Courtney Mazza, is pregnant with their first child. Mazza, 28, is due in the fall.

“I’m really excited. I’m happy. I can’t wait to be a dad,” says Lopez.

The Extra host and former Dancing with the Stars contestant plans to keep the baby’s gender a surprise.

“I’m fired up! I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see [the baby’s gender] to it will be a surprise,” Lopez adds.

Lopez, also host of America’s Best Dance Crew, met Mazza in 2008 following his split from DWTS pro Karina Smirnoff.
