Looks like being a unwed teenage Republican mother has it’s benefits – you get to be on TV! Bristol Palin will be starring on ABC Family’s The Secret Life Of The American Teenager.

“I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy,” Bristol said in a statement to JustJared.com from her home in Anchorage, Alaska.

Yeah I bet the #1 thing on her mind is talking about consequences and not making money from a pickled-brain show instead of actually doing something like going to college.
