Andrew Koenig, who starred as Boner on the 80s comedy Growing Pains, is missing. The actor’s father, Walter Koenig, said the 41-year-old disappeared after a trip to Canada, where he visited friends.
“He went to visit some friends in Toronto and after there, he went to Vancouver. It’s a place where he felt very comfortable. He lived there for a few years,” Walter tells People magazine.
Koenig was set to return to his Venice, California home on February 14, but he never arrived. Walter said he received a note from his son on February 16. He has not heard from Koenig since. “He sounded despondent. Nobody has seen this [note] but my wife and I,” says Walter.
The Koenig family is encouraging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Andrew Koenig to call their local police department, who will in turn contact authorities in Vancouver.
