Charlie Sheen’s car was reported stolen early Friday morning and what do you know, a Mercedes Benz SUV belonging to the actor was found crashed in a steep ravine early that same morning. The vehicle was found upside down in a 300 to 400 foot ravine off Mulholland Drive around 4 a.m. Sheen reported the SUV stolen around the same time.
Authorities are searching for crash victims but say there is no evidence anyone was in the vehicle when it went off the cliff.
“They’ve looked all around the hillside. There’s nobody in the car, nobody around (and no) evidence of anybody being around at the moment of impact,” says Officer Bruce Borihanh.
Sheen’s rep Stan Rosenfield told msnbc.com, “Reports concerning a stolen car belonging to Charlie Sheen are accurate enough. Charlie is fine, and the police are investigating.”
