Hanes has suspended all ads and TV commercials featuring Charlie Sheen following the actor’s Christmas Day arrest for domestic violence. Hanes spokesman Matt Hall said the ads were dropped as soon as possible.
“Hanes is not running the Hanes television commercials featuring Charlie Sheen, and those commercials will not run again,” Hall says. “The commercials were suspended effective December 28, the first date possible after Mr. Sheen’s Christmas Day arrest.”
Sheen, 44, had been featured alongside Michael Jordan in the company’s commercials for Comfortsoft underwear.
