Alex Rodriguez reportedly split from Kate Hudson because she constantly wanted to be in front of cameras. Sources say Hudson wanted cameras filming her at every one of Rodriguez’s Yankees games; something that “turned off” the baseball star.
“[Kate] wanted more camera time each and every game. She would always want to be styled before games and she’d insist on front-row seats. It was a turnoff to have a girlfriend who always wanted to be on camera. Alex wanted someone who was more interested in building a long-term relationship than just building their profile,” claims an insider.
Ultimately, the pal says that Hudson tried to give Rodriguez “an ultimatum” and to “fast track” the relationship. “He’s just coming off of a 13-year relationship with his ex-wife and a recent divorce,” the friend points out. “He has two lovely children with his ex-wife, and that requires a certain amount of responsibility. She gave him ultimatums that a newly divorced father can’t meet.”
The friend says that things ended amicably — and maturely. “They’re two mature adults. She did take the relationship seriously, and he has a lot of respect for her. They had some really wonderful times together.”
Hudson and Rodriguez began dating in May and reportedly split last week.

She insisted on front row seats? Um, wouldn’t A-Rod have front row seats? Who else would he give them to if not his girlfriend?
He wants someone who is interested in building a long term relationship rather than her profile, but in the next line it says he didn’t like her because she tried to fast track the relationship. Not serious enough but too serious. C’mon, which is it?
Seems to me, the truth is A Rod just got divorced and wants to sleep around for awhile before marrying again. Very wise but don’t blame it on Kate.
