The Twilight sequel “New Moon” had the best opening day in film history! The film took in $72.7 million its first 24 hours in theaters. The highly anticipated vampire flick, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, took the title from “The Dark Knight” – which earned $67.2 million its opening day.
