“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss opened up to Life and Style magazine about the sudden death of her fiancé Ashley AJ Jewell earlier this month.

“I know this is cliché, but I urge everyone to treat each day as if it’s your last and tell that special someone you love them today,” she said. “Don’t wait. It may be too late.”

Jewell, who appeared on Housewives of Atlanta, was beaten to death outside Atlanta strip club “Body Tap.” Frederick Richardson was charged with his death.

Kim Zolciak said, “I had the pleasure of meeting AJ while filming and considered him my friend. I will be there for Kandi and will do anything for her to get her through this difficult time.”

Lisa Wu Hartwell also issued a statement on his death. “My prayers go out to A.J.’s family and Kandi during this difficult time,” she said.
