Billy Joel and his wife Katie Lee Joel are calling it quits after 5 years of marriage. Reps for the couple issued a statement announcing the divorce.
“After nearly five years of marriage Billy Joel and Katie Lee Joel have decided to separate. This decision is a result of much thoughtful consideration. Billy and Katie remain caring friends with admiration and respect for each other,” says the reps.
The musician, 60, and the former Top Chef Season 1 host, 27, married in September 2004 on Joel’s 15-acre estate in Long Island.
