Britney Spears’ camp has issued an apology for an inappropriate message posted on the pop star’s Twitter account by a hacker on Monday.

A post on Spears’ account read, ‘Hi Yall! Brit Brit here, just wanted to update you all on the size of my vagina. Its about 4 feet wide with razor sharp teeth.”

Spears’ team removed the message from her Twitter account and posted a message on her website, BritneySpears.com, saying,

“Our Twitter account was hacked this morning. We apologize for any offense caused to Britney’s fans and our readers. Everything is sorted out and there should be nothing but great Britney-related news from now on. Thank you for your understanding.”

The Spears hacker is believed to also be responsible for hacking into the Twitter accounts of President-elect Barack Obama and TV host Bill O’Reilly.
