Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have allegedly increased their security staff after receiving death threats. The couple has reportedly received threats on their lives as well as the life of 2-year-old daughter Suri from groups opposed to their practice of Scientology. Sources say Cruise has also been threatened by people angered by his portrayal of Claus von Staffenberg in the new film ‘Valkyrie.’

The threats are being taken so seriously that Cruise is now apparently traveling in bullet proof cars, and is allegedly building a $10 million underground bunker at their Colorado home to feel safe.

In August, threats were made to place anthrax in the air vents of Tom’s Los Angeles office.

“Tom is terrified. He doesn’t feel safe anywhere. “They have had to take the threats seriously. Unfortunately there are plenty of cranks out there – particularly in LA.”

The FBI has allegedly been called in to analyze the threats.
