Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly making efforts to improve her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin after a series of rumors suggesting they’re close to separation, and even that she’s having an affair.
According to the New York Daily News, the couple are planning to forego their usual jetsetting and stay in their London home “until the holidays are over” to work on their relationship.
“Gwyneth says she’s totally fine. She’s used the phrase ‘perfectly happy’ a bunch of times, and refuses to read any of the tabloid tales to the contrary. “[But they’re] trying to make their marriage better.”
Friends say “Gwyneth has the Madonna bug… bad.” “It’s eerie. Gwyneth acts normally until Madonna comes around, and then Gwyn is all about Madonna, all the time. Madge has even introduced Gwyneth to all her friends.”
The couple have two children together, daughter Apple and son Moses.
I’ve only been married a year and half and it’s really hard work. I hate that the tabloids have nothing better to do than spread rumors about people to see if they can really break them up.
